Insurance Coverage

Want to check your insurance coverage?

Through a partnership with The Lactation Network I am able to accept certain insurances. At this time this is Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Cigna and some limited United Health Care plans. Click on the button below to check your coverage before your appointment. If approved book services labeled "Lactation Network."

What if my insurance is not covered by
The Lactation Network?

Please book using the "self pay" label in the booking widget. Payment is due at time of service and I will provide you with a Superbill to send to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. I accept FSA and HSA cards for payment.

Calling your insurance company and asking for the specific billing codes that they cover will be helpful. The Affordable Care Act mandates coverage for lactation support so your insurance should cover your visits. HMO plans may require a referral from your health care provider in order to be reimbursed. You may also need a Network Gap Exemption for coverage by an out-of-network provider. Call your insurance company for more details.
